Mr. Calvin Vardell Russ, 57, of 1214 Rodgers St., Chesapeake, Virginia, formerly of Elizabethtown, NC transitioned on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Canterbury Health and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, Virginia.

Viewing- Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

Survivors- his mother, Deborah Russ of Elizabethtown, NC, his stepdaughter, Santana Faulk of Durham, NC, two sisters, Felicia Jones of Clarkton, NC and Melinda Russ(Sean) of Elizabethtown, NC, one brother, Ontario Jones of West Virginia, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral- Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 2:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC.

Burial- Carvers Creek Cemetery, Council, NC.
